THE PHYSICAL NARRATIVE

The Choreography of Movement

Prior to venturing into the public speaking realm, Kristin dazzled audiences on both stage and screen with a multi-disciplinary performing arts career spanning more than two decades. Her choreography skills have been featured in dozens of musical theatre productions, dance showcases, live events, and in more than a few weddings. She was co-owner of Toronto’s Bees’ Knees Dance studio (2014-2019), a founding member of the award-winning dance troupe That Swing!, and in constant demand as a jazz-age vintage dance instructor. Kristin made her film debut in Mariah Carey’s infamous Glitter in 2001 (blink and you’ll miss it!). 
With her signature blend of theatrical wit, nostalgic charm, and executive-level mental health insight, Kristin delivers engaging, impactful experiences that will resonate long after the session ends.

The Professional Journey

1996 – 2000: Broadcasting & Production

Began as a play-by-play announcer for Sega City @ Playdium before earning a diploma in Radio & Television Broadcasting from Seneca College. Served as a Production Manager and Props Assistant for the PBS children’s show Ricky’s Room.

2001 – 2013: Design & Holistic Health

Parallel to her work in the arts, Kristin spent over two decades as an independent graphic designer. Between 2012 and 2016, she also operated a professional practice as a Registered Holistic Nutritionist.

2014 – 2019: Dance & Performance Leadership

She was co-owner of Bees’ Knees Dance (2014-2019), Toronto’s largest swing dance studio; and a founding member of That Swing!, a professional vintage performance troupe specializing in Gatsby-themed corporate entertainment.

2016 – 2021: Venue Operations & Event Management

Through Refvik & Light Productions, Kristin managed two iconic Toronto event spaces—The Jam Factory and The Richmond—while overseeing event logistics for major local brands like Eastbound Brewing Co.

2021 – Present: Keynote Speaking & Advocacy

After a 1st-place win at the Speaker Slam inspirational speaking competition, Kristin pivoted to professional keynotes. She now combines her theatrical background and lived experience to advocate for neuroinclusion and mental health education in the workplace.
